Guddle collects seven years of live, radio and home recordings of my poetry. Campaigning gigs and bedroom spells, Scots poems and procedural jokes: it’s a picture of my changing voice and ideas.
The album comes with a 64-page pamphlet of the full texts, with liner notes reflecting on how the poems were written and what they mean to me now. This includes many poems that could only previously be found in small and ephemeral prints, and also the first full publication of my translation of Palestinian poet Faisal Qarqati, “Haudin the Kenmairk o Hairst”.
