If you’ve heard me perform recently, you’ll probably have heard one or two of my sequence of quasi-confessional poems about a drone. They’ve been building into something like a sequence, always a nerve-wracking thing (because once it’s a sequence you have to finish it!) and this week they started appearing on pages and screens.
You can find POEM IN WHICH A DRONE WATCHES A US PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE FROM A TRAVELODGE OFF THE M18 NEAR DONCASTER in the fantastic Poems In Which (Issue 2) web journal, and a series of four poems about the same anxiety-ridden drone in the deliciously bleak Neon Magazine #33 (in print and .pdf, available free but do donate to them).
To be continued!
