Fail Better Presents: Stories From the People’s Square
McChuil’s, Glasgow
8 til late, 14 February 2013
That’s right, it’s a night to celebrate George Square and what it represents as a public place of protest: through film, song, story, and poem. Fail better brings you a night of music, art and words about why and how George Square belongs to the people of Glasgow.
- The one and only ALASDAIR GRAY will kick off the evening
- The inimitable poet and performer HARRY GILES will be rabble rousing.
- Leith’s foremost supergroup, THE BUM-CLOCKS will be playing for us.
- more TBC
And previous audiences have said it’s like watching Robert Burns fight Iggy Pop on a moving freight train, so be warned. (The band are ex-Fire Engines, ex-National Theatre of Scotland, ex-Josef K, ex-Aztec Camera, ex-Orange Juice, by the way). Entry is free, donations welcome.
